XYOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of Dana Christine Guarnieri and Joseph William Lantz was solemnized by the Rev. Frank Lehnerd during a 4 p.m. ceremony May 26 at St. Edward Church.
A reception was held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Hall to honor the daughter of Patricia and George Guarnieri, 114 Mill Creek Drive, Boardman, and the son of Edna Carder of Fort Myers, Fla., and the late William Lantz.
The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas.
The bride wore her mother's vintage-style A-line wedding gown. It featured an empire waistline and was embellished with Austrian lace encrusted with pearls.
Chocolate-colored gowns were worn by Josa Guarnieri, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Danielle Martin, Kasie Briggs, Reyna Thomae, Molly Collier, Melissa Collier, Megan Reagan, Kelly Johns, Sherry Lantz and Danielle Lantz.
Patrick O'Horo served as best man, and groomsmen were James Carlucci, Craig Svader, Kevin O'Neill, Joseph Moderitz, Chad Guarnieri, Lou Santangelo, P.J. Chance, James DiMuzio and Justin Durkin.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa and her juris doctorate at Akron Law School. She is an assistant prosecutor with the city of Youngstown, and the groom is a firefighter with the city.
