HUBBARD
June 20
Burglary: A residence in the 100 block of North Main Street was broken into.
June 21
Criminal mischief: A man reported someone tossed beer bottles into his yard in the 60 block of Parish Avenue.
Attempted theft: A worker at Rite Aid Pharmacy, 147 W. Liberty St., told police a man tried to take merchandise from behind the counter.
June 22
Theft: A motorist pumped and failed to pay for gasoline at a Shell True North station, 204 W. Liberty St.
Theft of services: A woman reported another woman illegally dumped four or five bags of garbage into a trash bin at an apartment complex in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Theft: An Orchard Avenue man reported the theft of his credit card.
Possible fraud: A Walnut Street man told authorities he bought a time share in South Carolina online and had not received the deed.
Theft: Someone took a stop sign from near Viola Avenue and Church Street.

Theft: A front license plate was stolen off a vehicle in the 40 block of Furlen Court.
Theft: A Henry Street woman reported her son's cellular phone stolen while he was at Hubbard Community Pool, 250 Hall Ave.
Theft: A Stewart Street man told police his girlfriend's vehicle had all four of its tires and wheels removed.
Theft: Officers arrested a Youngstown woman on charges of theft and obstructing official business after snack items were stolen from a Shell True North gas station.

Burglary: A break-in occurred to a home in the 200 block of School Street.

June 24
Criminal mischief: Someone painted graffiti on a door at the Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 400 block of North Avenue saw that someone used silver paint to spray-paint her car's passenger side.
Recovered property: After a police officer reported a city-owned truck from the recreation department might have been stolen, the vehicle was found at a home on North Ward Avenue and impounded.
June 25
Theft: A woman in the 300 block of Iowa Avenue noticed a tent missing from her tool shed.
June 26
Felonious assault: A North Highland Avenue woman alleged her boyfriend, 31, pointed a firearm at her and struck the victim in the arm during an argument.
Criminal mischief: A man in the 50 block of Hancock Street discovered two large cuts had been made to his swimming pool.
LIBERTY
June 19
Theft/recovered property: After a Campbell woman reported her purse stolen while at Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave., the purse was found near a storm drain.
Arrest: Police issued a summons to a 37-year-old man while responding to a call in the 3000 block of Northgate Avenue. He was charged with disorderly conduct after officers say he was intoxicated and had made threatening remarks.
June 20
Theft: Authorities apprehended two men, 40 and 47, and a woman, 39, all from Youngstown, after pulling over their vehicle on Interstate 80. The woman was charged with theft and was wanted on warrants; the men faced charges of complicity to theft after $87 worth of candy bars and other items were stolen from Giant Eagle.
Recovered property: Someone in the township found and turned over to police a license plate that had been taken off a motorcycle belonging to a Hubbard man.
Theft: Someone stole about 120 gallons of diesel fuel from a vehicle at the Liberty Fire Department, 5290 Belmont Ave.
Forgery: An employee at Ace Cash Express, 3029 Belmont Ave., reported a Youngstown man in his 40s tried to cash eight phony travelers checks.
Arrest: Police arrested a man, no information given, near the Holiday Inn MetroPlex, 1620 Motor Inn Drive, and turned him over to Niles authorities. The man was wanted on a warrant from that city charging him with failure to appear in court on one falsification count.
Theft: One or two people stole six cigars from Smoker Friendly, 3814 Belmont Ave., before fleeing on foot.
June 21
Drugs: After pulling over a vehicle near Goldie Road and state Route 193, police arrested a 20-year-old Poland man on a charge of drug abuse (marijuana). A bag of suspected marijuana was found, officers said.
Drugs: Police cited a Youngstown woman, 24, after conducting a traffic stop on Colonial Drive. She faced a charge of drug abuse (marijuana) after authorities say they found three bags of suspected marijuana. A 35-year-old Youngstown man was charged with driving under suspension.
June 22
Theft: An East Drive woman reported two personal checks and a debit card missing from her purse at her home.
Theft: A man in the 2900 block of Roosevelt Drive accused a Youngstown woman, 50, of taking his wallet.
Theft: Police arrested a 30-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge. She was accused of concealing $24.43 worth of merchandise in a backpack while at Rite Aid Pharmacy, 2704 Belmont Ave.
Domestic violence: Officers took a 35-year-old Mineral Ridge woman into custody at an Edwards Lane residence on a domestic-violence count. The woman's daughter, 15, alleged she punched the victim in the left eye during an argument.
Breaking and entering: Someone entered an apartment in the 20 block of Colonial Drive and removed copper pipes and other plumbing fixtures.
Theft: A Youngstown woman reported her purse stolen from her vehicle while at Giant Eagle.
