CLASS B Rondinelli's wins, 6-0
STRUTHERS -- Vince Riola tossed a three-hitter and struck out six batters as Rondinelli's posted a 6-0 victory over Youngstown Express Sunday in Class B action at Cene Park.
Chris Beaty pounded out three hits including a double and a home run and drove in three runs for the winners.
Phil Double also drove in a run for Rondinelli's with a double.
Chris Linert suffered the loss for Express, scattering six hits.
R & amp;J Trucking 8, Astro Falcons 7
R & amp;J Trucking scored in the top of the seventh inning breaking a 7-7 deadlock to defeat the Falcons.
Steve McNeely and Eddie Rohan each had two hits, with one of Rohan's being a double.
Drew Turocy had three hits including a triple for Astro.
Wharmby 7, Roth Brothers 6
Ty Womer and Tom Popadak each hit doubles as Wharmby rallied past Rother Brothers with two runs in the sixth inning.
Joe Vaught and Tyler Miesky each had two hits for Roth, while Robert Gruelle drove in three runs.
Mink 7, Newell 1
Corey Vukovic scattered four hits and struck out six as Mink rolled past Newell.
Mike Barone and Richie Tissone each had a pair of hits while Tissone also drove in a run.
Jarryd Summers led Newell with two hits.
Livi Steel 4, Dave Sugar 1
Livi Steel managed just three hits, but took advantage of six Dave Sugar errors to post the victory.
Tony Pozega and Peyton Oakiley each had an RBI for Livi, while Mike Hoelze had two hits for Sugar. Mark Mariner allowed just three hits, but suffered the loss.
Late Saturday
R & amp;J Trucking 6, Wharmby 0
Lou Copolla threw a one-hitter with eight strikeouts for R & amp;J.
David Patrick had three hits and scored twice while Rohan had two doubles and Jim Pasquine had two hits in the victory.
Popadak gave up one earned run in six innings, striking out 11 for Wharmby.
Dave Sugar 4, Roth Brothers 3
Bryan Dawson came on in relief and put out a Roth Brothers rally in the seventh inning as Dave Sugar Excavating posted the victory.
Mike Hoetzel, Dave DiYorio and Jeff Music all had RBIs for the winners. Craig Clemson picked up the victory.
Ty Micsky drove in two runs for Roth.
Newell's 5, Livi Steel 1
Andy Geibel pitched a three-hitter to lead Newell's past Livi Steel.
Kyle Rupp, Dan Keil, Jarryd Summers and Ryan Morris all hit doubles for the winners.
Manoli Pahoulis, Josh Swipas and Zach Bler had the three hits for Livi Steel.
Mink 6, Yo. Express 5
Kenny Controne had two doubles and scored the winning run in the top of the seventh, while Sam Barker pitched 12/3 innings of shutout relief for Mink, which rallied from a 5-4 deficit.
Dan Gallagher and Ryan Walters had two hits for the Express.
Rondinelli Tuxedo 8, Astro Falcons 6
Beatty had three hits and two RBIs for Rondinelli (14-5).
Tony Brunetti and Andy Dobson each added two hits in the win. Corey Susany had two hits for Astros (13-5).
