XAKRON -- Tammy Lynn Kaszowski, 1330 Tonawanda Ave., and Greg Kalail, 1515 Parkgate Ave., were married May 13 at Greystone Hall in a 3:30 p.m. ceremony officiated by Mayor Donald Plusquellic.
The bride is a daughter of Walter Kaszowski, 719 state Route 18, New Wilmington, Pa., and the late Norma Kaszowski, and the groom's parents are Ed and Catherine Kalail, 1266 Clifton Ave.
After a reception at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn, the couple left on a honeymoon cruise to the western Caribbean. They live in Akron.
The bride wore a white strapless A-line gown embellished with embroidery and crystals and featuring a sweetheart neckline.
Euro lilac gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Christina Minner and Tracy Shaner, and the bridesmaids, Stacy and Stephanie Goodyear, Penny Kaszowski, Melissa Guiddy and Kim Vellequette. Junior bridesmaid was Ashley Draper, and flower girls were Michaela Minner and Angel Kaszowski.
John Costello Jr. served as best man, and groomsmen were Ed Jr. and Steven Kalail, Michael Vellequette, Jerry Minner, Dale Evans and Ned Gellner. Ring bearer was Ross Shaner.
The bride, assistant director with the City of Akron Law Department Civil Division, received a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a juris doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law. The groom is the manager with the City of Akron Recreation Bureau. He earned a bachelor's degree at Kent State University and a master's at the University of Akron.
