Surprise party held for Paulus 50th anniversary

XYOUNGSTOWN -- The Victorian Room in Niles was the setting at May 27 for a surprise party held to honor of Mr. and Mrs. Wes Paulus, 2420 Burbank Ave., who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the festivity were the couple's children and their spouses, Michael and Gayle Paulus of Niles; Michelle and John Sabol of Redding, Calif.; Scott and Maryellen Paulus of Fairhope, Ala.; and Bryan and Stephanie Paulus of Nashua, N.H. There are five grandchildren in the family.
The former Lorraine Jurewicz and Mr. Paulus were united in marriage May 26, 1956, at St. Wendelin Church in Pittsburgh. They are members of St. Brendan Church.
Mr. Paulus was employed for 30 years at Nickles Bakery in Girard prior to retiring.
