XNEW CASTLE, Pa. -- David Walter Allen, 11389 Springfield Road, North Lima, and Stephanie Ann Grimes, 821 S. Scotland Lane, were united in marriage May 20 at Mary Mother of Hope.
The Rev. Victor Molka Jr. officiated, and a reception was held for the couple at The Embassy in Youngstown. After a wedding trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, they live in North Lima.
Ronald and Barbara Grimes, 603 Grandview Ave., are parents of the bride. The groom is a son of Ralph and Dianna Allen, 7392 Eisenhower Drive, Youngstown.
The bride's strapless white satin and tulle ballgown featured a dropped waist and cathedral train, and was accented with crystals, bugle beads and rhinestones.
Black gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Stephanie Gonzales, and the bridesmaids, Denice Smith, Melissa Mrozek-Morrison, Debra Melillo and Mary Ann Pape. The flower girl, Brittany Grimes, wore a white gown.
Tod Allen performed the duties of best man, and serving as groomsmen were Tony Simboli, Bobby Coler, Ed Treharne and Mark Brothers. Ring bearer was Cody Allen.
Also participating were Erin Blanch, Laura Bower, Christy Allen, Jeffrey Grimes and Joshua Grimes.
The bride, a registered nurse at Ron Joy Nursing Home, Youngstown, graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing.
The groom earned an associate degree at Youngstown State University and is a mechanical design engineer with Bronx/Taylor Wilson in North Canton.
