XBOARDMAN -- A reception was held May 20 at Avion on the Water in Canfield to honor Eric Christopher Grosso of Youngstown and his bride, the former Sarah Jane Yurco, 4212 E. South Range Road, New Middletown, after their 2:30 p.m. wedding at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. David Joachim officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Laura and Kenneth Yurco of New Middletown and the son of Tony Grosso of Canfield and Karen Shaffer of Youngstown.
After a wedding trip to St. Maarten, the couple live on Brownlee Avenue, Youngstown.
The bride wore a strapless white gown.
Wearing lilac gowns were the bride's sister and honor attendant, Lyanne Yurco of New Middletown, and the bridesmaids, Sandy Stephenson of Youngstown, a cousin of the groom, and Erin Blakeman of Boardman. The bride's cousin, Aubrey Yurco-Orleans of Austintown, was flower girl.
Michael D'Angelo of Struthers served as best man for the groom, and groomsmen were Robert Daniluk of Girard, John Richley of Boardman and the bride's brother, Isaac Yurco of New Middletown.
Mrs. Grosso graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor's degrees in mathematics and finance. She is an assistant manager with First Place Bank in Howland.
Mr. Grosso, a free-lance correspondent with The Vindicator, earned a bachelor's degree in telecommunications at YSU.
