Family hosts celebration for Hansley 50th



XBROOKFIELD -- Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Hansley Jr. of Brookfield were honored by family and friends as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a party held June 3 at Alberini's Restaurant in Niles.
Hosts for the event were their children and their spouses, Keith and Mary Beth Hansley of Fuquay Varina, N.C.; Ed and Tina Burdette of Clark, Pa.; Jim and Leslie Georgaris of Struthers; Bill and Karen Rumple of Dominican Republic; Mark and Stephanie Patrick of West Middlesex, Pa.; and Russell and Pamela Hansley-Poland of Masury. Completing the family circle are 10 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
On June 2, 1956, the former Dolores Maestri and Mr. Hansley were united in marriage at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Farrell, Pa. They are members of Youngstown Christian Fellowship.
Mrs. Hansley, a self-employed professional musician, owns and operates a keyboard studio. She is a member of American College of Musicians and Youngstown Music Teachers Association.
Mr. Hansley served with the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He was a project engineer in the hydraulics department at Commercial Intertech prior to retiring in 1996. He is a member of the choir at Pulaski Presbyterian Church.
