ELIZABETH LABASHSTEPHEN HIRT
XYOUNGSTOWN -- Trinity United Methodist Church provided the setting May 26 for the wedding of Elizabeth A. LaBash and Stephen J. Hirt, both of Boardman.
The Rev. C. Larry Kline officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Louis G. LaBash of Atlanta and Marcia J. Wilburn of Boardman, and the son of John and Helen Hirt of Ellsworth.
A reception was held in honor of the couple at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman, where the couple accepted congratulations before leaving on a wedding trip to St. Armonds Island, Fla.
They live in Austintown.
The bride wore a strapless ivory satin sheath gown with beading on the bodice and embroidered chiffon lace enhancing the skirt.
An ivory gown was worn by the honor attendant, Jennifer Tershel of Youngstown.
The groom's brother, John Hirt Jr. of Martha's Vineyard, Mass., performed the duties of best man, and ushers were Craig Tershel of Youngstown and Chris Longnecker of Boardman.
The bride graduated from Choffin School of Practical Nursing in Youngstown and is a clinician for the respiratory department of Boardman Medical Supply, Girard.
The groom, a registered nurse in the emergency room at University Hospital in Cleveland, graduated from Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y.
