CHICAGO -- Taj McWilliams-Franklin had 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Connecticut Sun past the Sky for Chicago's 12th consecutive loss. Nykesha Sales had 23 points-- 16 in the first quarter-- as Connecticut (10-3) won its third straight game. Katie Douglass had 12 points and Margo Dydek added 13 for the Eastern Conference leaders. Candice Dupree had 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocks for Chicago (1-12). Jia Perkins added 13 points.
Comets 85, Sting 70
HOUSTON -- Tina Thompson scored 22 points and Michelle Snow added 16 as the Houston Comets held off a second-half rally by the Charlotte Sting. The Comets (9-5) ended a two-game losing streak and won their sixth straight game at home. Tammy Sutton-Brown scored 16 points for Charlotte (2-10), which has lost six straight overall and remains winless on the road at 0-4.
