SALEM SESQUICENTENNIAL: Joan Robusch, queen of the Salem sesquicentennial, sits atop an elaborate and striking float surrounded by her court. The parade was a highlight of the city of Salem's 150th anninversary events in June 1956. This summer, the city is celebrating its bicentennial.
