SATURDAY
Magpie, internationally renowned folk musicians: 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Poet Mwatabu Okantah with jazz accompaniment, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Donkey Engine (bluegrass): 1:45-3 p.m.
Mo' Mojo Ma.m.a Band (zydeco music): 3:15-4:45 p.m.
YOUTH EVENTS
Impromptu Theater: 11-12:30 p.m. and 2-3:30 p.m.
Make musical instruments: 1-2 p.m.
Kid's visual arts activities: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Kid's guided visual arts activities on the hour: Banners, 10 a.m.; maskmaking, 11 a.m.; wearable art, noon; printmaking, 1 p.m.; mystery bag art, 2 p.m. There will also be a box village, paint a mural and sidewalk chalk events.
JULY 2
Community hymn sing: 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Dulci-Mores : 12:30-1:15 p.m.
Musical numbers from Salem Community Theatre's upcoming production of "Big River": 1:15-1:45 p.m.
African dancing: 2-2:30 p.m.
Salem Jubilee Chorus: 2:45-3:45 p.m.
"Magpie: Sword of the Spirit" theatrical performance that tells the story of John and Mary Brown, 7 p.m., Friends Meeting Hall, Salem. Tickets are available by calling (330) 337-6363.
