Mass will honor wedding anniversaries



YOUNGSTOWN -- Monsignor Robert J. Siffrin, diocesan administrator, will celebrate a special Mass at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Columba Cathedral, 159 W. Rayen Ave., to mark the wedding anniversaries of 175 couples who are being honored for a total of 8,100 years of marriage. The anniversaries being observed range from 25 to 71 years.
The diocesan Office of Pro-Life, Marriage and Family Ministry is the sponsor. After the service, a reception hosted by Sts. Peter and Paul and Our Lady of Hungary churches will be held for the honored couples and their families in the cathedral hall.
James and Louise Nuth, parishioners of St. Christine Church, are the longest-married couple. They are celebrating 71 years of marriage.
The celebration includes renewal of marriage vows at Mass and a personalized certificate.
