A list of track, cross country and academic honors achieved by South Range's Julie Nemergut at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania:
Named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American Women's Track & amp; Field/Cross Country First Team along with senior teammate Kelly Richards (General McLane High, Edinboro).
Made the 2006 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Top Ten team for the fourth straight year.
Gained All-American honors for the second time by placing seventh in the 10,000-meter run (37:23.05) at the 2006 NCAA Division II National Track and Field Championships.
Qualified for the finals in the 5,000-meter run at the 2006 NCAA Division II National Track and Field Championships and placed 11th.
Won the 5,000-meter run at the PSAC Championships to make All-PSAC.
Placed ninth the 10,000 at the 2006 Penn Relays.
Has achieved a 3.91 grade-point average as a major in special education and elementary education.
Awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship to Edinboro and will compete in track again next season to complete her eligibility while working on her master's degree.
Won the 2006 Nancy Acker Award which is presented to the school's top senior female athlete.
Named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American Women's Track & amp; Field/Cross Country Third Team along (teammate Kelly Richards from General McLane High in Edinboro made the second team).
Gained All-American track honors by placing eighth in the 10,000-meter run at the 2004 NCAA Division II National Track and Field Championships .

Selected to the All-East Region cross country team four times.
Won PSAC cross country titles in 2004 and 2005.

Named 2004 PSAC Cross Country Runner of the Year and 2004 East Region Athlete of the Year,
Gained 2004 NCAA Division II All-American cross country honors by placing 10th in the national meet to help Edinboro take runner-up -- the highest finish in school history.
