So you feel lucky. You're the first at the poker table. You ski down the killer slopes with gusto. You're the first in line for the Powerball lottery. You figure you were born under the right stars.
Never mind that friends roll their eyes and brush off your optimism as an eccentric whim.
Allure magazine says two academic psychologists from Sweden and England surveyed more than 22,000 people about their character traits and sense of luck.
Those participants born in the spring and summer perceived themselves as luckier than those who arrived in the fall and winter. That feeling was linked to extroverted behavior and emotional stability, the researchers said.
