Castroneves was leading with nine laps remaining when Darren Manning and Roger Yasukawa made contact just ahead of him. Manning's car skidded quickly into the outside wall, and then Yasukawa's followed, but not before Castroneves was able to squeak by, with Yasukawa's car missing his by inches.Next race: Kansas Indy 300, July 2, Kansas City.
