ASSOCIATIONS
Dianthus Chapter of American Business Women's Association will host a mother-daughter tea from 2 to 4 p.m. July 9 at Packard Shelter House in Warren. William Penn Fraternal Association will hold a picnic Sept. 16 at Penn Scenic View Park, near Seven Springs, Pa. A deposit of $30 is required with each reservation to secure a seat on the bus and admission to the picnic, which includes food and beverages all day. CLUBS
A meeting of the American Hungarian Club, Donald Avenue, Youngstown, will be held at the club at 7:30 p.m. Monday following a light supper at 5:30. Members are asked to take a dessert. The Youngstown State University Ethnic Festival in July will be discussed.
Christian Women's Club South will hold a "Hooray for the Red, White and Blue" luncheon and meeting at noon July 13 at Avion on the Water, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road. Canfield. Featured will be original watercolors by Deborah Hunkus, music by Tom Gent, and a talk on "Finding Reality in an Unreal World," by Linda Hull of Middleburg Heights. The cost is $10. McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
Warren Women's Connection will meet for a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 10 at Aulizio's Banquet Center, 4395 Youngstown Road. The theme is "Let's Party With a Bang" and will feature a prom and party dress style show. The speaker will be Arlene Kinnell, who will speak on how to be happy with who you are in spite of imperfections. Music will be provided by Megan and Macey Gunther. Embroiderers Guild of America will meet at 10 a.m. and at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the IOOF Hall in Canfield. Todd Murdock will preside. SINGLES
Original Christian Singles will meet at 6 p.m. July 3 in the fellowship hall at Glenwood Methodist Church. Hot dogs will be served. Members are asked to take other items for the meal.
