MLS ROUNDUP | Wednesday's games

Revolution 1, Crew 1
COLUMBUS -- Kei Kamara scored in the 86th minute to help the Columbus Crew avoid their third straight loss and extend New England's winless streak to six games. Andy Dorman gave the Revolution the lead in the 66th minute with a skidding, right-footed shot from 17 yards that beat Columbus goalkeeper Noah Palmer. Dorman capitalized on crisp passes from Revolution midfielder Jose Cancela and forward Taylor Twellman. Kamara's goal was assisted by Ritchie Kotschau, who came off the bench in the first half to replace an injured Rusty Pierce. Kamara found space in the right side of the penalty area and floated a pass to Kamara, who headed the ball past goalkeeper Matt Reis.
United 1, Fire 0
WASHINGTON -- Clyde Simms scored his first career MLS goal on a 20-yard strike for D.C. United (8-1-5), which extended its undefeated streak to eight matches with the victory and earned its fourth shutout of the year. Chicago (2-5-5) has earned just one point in its last five matches but was shut out for only the second time this season. Simms, a defensive midfielder, struck in the 17th minute, reaching Christian Gomez's pass and driving it into the lower-left corner. Freddy Adu also came close to his first goal of the year, hitting the right post early in the first half.
