June 20, 1956: A Venezuelan superairliner bursts into flames two miles above the Atlantic Ocean while trying to return to Idlewild Airport after developing engine trouble. Seventy-four people are dead, making it the most deadly disaster in regular airline service.
The Ohio Turnpike Commission cuts the rates for seven categories of trucks by as much as $5 for large trucks and 25 cents for small ones in an attempt to encourage more traffic on the 241-mile toll road. The rate for passenger cars was not changed.

June 20, 1931: An architect's rendering is released of Youngstown's new post office and courthouse that will be erected on the southwest corner of Front and Market street.s The post office will take temporary quarters in the Youngstown Drygoods Co. building so that the old post office can be demolished and the new one built.
At least 500 men will be assured of steady work through the summer with an order received by the Youngstown Sheet & amp; Tube Co. for 41,000 tons of 26-inch pipe. The buyer has not been identified publicly.
