Nonprofit organizations will showcase services



Children's entertainment and music will be provided.
WARREN -- The Fine Arts Council will host Community Day in the Park this Friday, offering local nonprofit organizations an opportunity to promote their services.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Guys Without Ties.
This year, 32 agencies from throughout the Mahoning Valley have registered to take part in the festivities. People are encouraged to attend to learn more about the services that are available to them.
Special displays include a Packard car, a dog and cat from the Animal Welfare League shelter, face painting and a child's nutrition education game.
All organizations will have general organizational and/or membership information available, and several will offer raffle tickets.

Participants are Trumbull County League of Women Voters, Animal Welfare League, Trumbull Career & amp; Tech Center - Adult Education Program, Trumbull County Children Services - adoption information, Someplace Safe - raffle ticket sale, Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, Geauga -Trumbull Solid Waste District, Department of Veteran's Affairs, Trumbull - American Red Cross - Disaster Preparedness, Sutliff Museum - Underground Railroad information, Trumbull Historical Society - local artifacts & amp; literature, Forum Health - Medical Imaging and Outreach Labs, and Warren-Trumbull Public Library - summer reading program.
Also, Warren Philharmonic Orchestra - 2006-07 season information, Trumbull County AIDS Task Force, First Book - book display, New Life Maternity Home - Baby Think it Over demonstration, Trumbull YMCA, Humility of Mary Health Partners and Women, Infants and Children - Child nutrition education game, Warren Trumbull Urban League - Fair Housing information, Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic, National Packard Museum - Packard Car will be on display, Care Source, Trumbull County Genealogical Society, and Western Reserve Greenway.
