XYOUNGSTOWN -- Nuptial vows were exchanged during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony May 20 as Jessica Ann Moritz, 12511 Clifton Blvd., Lakewood, and Derrek Ian Tew, 12060 Lake Ave., Lakewood, were married at St. Dominic Church.
The marriage was solemnized by the Rev. Joseph Allen, and the couple accepted congratulations during a reception in the grand ballroom at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia in the West Indies, the couple live in Westlake.
The bride's white satin A-line gown was embellished with embroidery in a vine pattern and Swarovski crystals and featured a cathedral train.
Wearing Victorian lilac gowns were the bride's sister and maid of honor, Amanda Moritz, and the bridesmaids, Katie Butto, Cara Inglis and Justina LoVaglio. The bride's cousin, Phoebe Lariccia, was flower girl.
Serving as best man was Duane Powell, and groomsmen were Jason Tew, a brother of the groom; John Cowan; and Kurt Murray. Ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Jack Lariccia.
The bride graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in allied health professions. She is a senior MRI technologist at Cleveland Clinic.
The groom is an imaging specialist in the department of imaging sciences and research at Cleveland Clinic. He graduated from Indiana Weslyan University with a bachelor's degree in management and from Jackson Community College with an associate degree in applied radiographic technology.
