XSHARON, Pa. -- Jenna Ellen Simon, daughter of Richard and Barbara Simon, 369 Roselawn, N.E., Warren, and Brian P. Daugherty, son of Atty. David and Carolyn Daugherty, 196 Roselawn, N.E., were united in marriage during a 3 p.m. May 20 ceremony at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Thomas Wilcox officiated.
A reception was held at Vernon's Cafe in Niles, where the couple accepted congratulations before leaving for a honeymoon to Niagara Falls. They live in Warren.
Johnna Simon of Warren, the bride's sister and honor attendant, wore an azalea-colored gown, as did the bridesmaids, Erin Daugherty of Warren, a sister of the groom; Lindsay Spain; Jennifer Stefanko; and Whitney Parson, all of Warren. Flower girl was the groom's sister, Emily Daugherty, also of Warren.
The duties of best man were performed by Jeremy McCollum, and groomsmen were Josh Yutzy, Bob Walker and the groom's cousins, Chris Penman and Jonathan Penman, all of Warren.
The bride, a lifeguard with Trumbull Country Club in Warren, is attending Youngstown State University.
The groom is also attending YSU and is a laborer with Creekside Gardens in Warren.
