XYOUNGSTOWN -- A reception was held at Stambaugh Auditorium to honor Daniel Scott Krowinski and his bride, the former Amber Rae Sanchez, after their wedding at 2 p.m. May 6 at St. Patrick Church.
The Rev. Edward Noga officiated for the daughter of Rinaldo and Wildemina Ocasio Sanchez of Boardman, and the son of Dr. William Jr. and Rochelle Krowinski of Erie, Pa.
The bride's strapless white tulle ballgown was embellished with metallic beading and embroidery.
A peridot gown was worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Capt. Eva Rae Sanchez. Wearing azalea-colored gowns were the bridesmaids, Jo-Lein Ocasio-Quarles, Malinda Ocasio, Daisy Ocasio and Evangelita Brown, cousins of the bride; Sarah McGarry; and Rebecca Moore. The bride's cousins, Grimilda Ocasio-Santiago and Daisy Corso, were junior bridesmaids in pink gowns.
The best man was John Miller, and groomsmen were William Krowinski III and David Makos, brothers of the groom; 2nd Lt. Jussus Sanchez, the bride's brother; Ben Gouldthorpe; Paul Minor; and Brett Fry. Ring bearers were Johann Williams and Francisco Ocasio Rivera, cousins of the bride.
The bride and groom graduated from Ohio State University and were commissioned through the Air Force ROTC program. They are first lieutenants in the Air Force, stationed at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas, where she is the operation officer for the 47th Logistics Readiness Division and he is an instructor pilot in the 85th Flying Squadron.
