XVIENNA -- St. Vincent de Paul Church was the setting at 2 p.m. May 20 for the wedding of Alicia Walters, 2010 Country Trace, Toledo, and Charles Stewart, 344 Rebecca Ave., Hubbard.
The Rev. Frank Zanni officiated for the daughter of Dorothea Walters, 4781 Warren Sharon Road, and Ken and Roselle Walters, 1012 Red Oaks, Girard, and the son of Gary and Karen Stewart, 485 Wendemere Drive, Hubbard.
After a reception at Ciminero's Banquet Centre in Niles, the couple left on a southern Caribbean cruise. They live in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Embroidery and beading enhanced the bride's white satin strapless gown. It featured a full skirt and a semicathedral train.
Ice-blue gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Andrea Walters, and the bridesmaids, Andrea Kinzig, Susan Smith, Jennifer Kennedy, Michelle Young, Melissa Brungo and Amy Boes. Flower girl was Brittany Boes.
Brian Werner was best man, and groomsmen were Greg Shupienis, Doug Lindh, Jim Gough, Greg Arthur, Kevin McBride and Phil Boes. Ring bearer was Nathan Craig.
The bride, who will use the name Alicia Walters Stewart, graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor's degree and earned a doctor of medicine degree from the Medical University of Ohio. She is a resident physician at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Department of Family Medicine in Winston-Salem.
The groom is a heating, ventilating and air conditioning technician with H.H. Hovey in Winston-Salem.
