Dobson's four hits power Rondinelli



Astros beat Roth to improve to 12-3, same as Rondinelli.
STRUTHERS -- Andy Dobson had four hits to pace Rondinelli Tuxedo to a 7-2 victory over Mink Financial in a Class B League game Friday night at Cene Park.
Rondinelli improved to 12-3.
Phil Double, and Corey Collins had two hits each for Rondinelli, while Tyrone Wright tossed a complete game for his third win. Wright had three strikeouts and no walks.
Mark Novotny had a pair of hits for Mink (6-9).
Astro Falcons 13, Roth Brothers 2
Kyle Smith had a pair of two-run doubles for Astro Falcons. Jared Bartholomew added a triple and a single, while Corey Susany and Matt Wier had two hits each for Astros (12-3).
Ben Leech allowed just one earned run with three strikeouts.
Pat Holcomb and Sean Zentko had two hits each for Roth (1-14).
Newell Sporting Goods 9,Dave Sugar Excavating 2
Trailing 2-0 Newell Sporting Goods scored eight runs in the top of the fourth inning and moved into a tie for the last playoff spot (sixth) with Mink. Both teams are 6-9.
Josh Fyffe had a single and a double and drove home two runs while Bill Nelson went the distance with eight strikeouts for the win.
Dane Dobson had a single and a double for Sugar (5-10).
R & amp; J Trucking 18,Youngstown Express 5
R & amp;J Trucking (11-4) pounded out 17 hits, five of them triples.
Tyler Manfull had three hits and three RBIs, while Jim Pasquine also had three hits. Ed Rohan had a pair of hits and four RBIs, and Dave Patrick, Matt Yarab, Xavier Godoy, and Steve McNeely had two hits each.
Josh Dankovich had two htis and four RBIs for the Express (3-12).
