Lions Club street fair
The annual fair will be Friday through June 24 in the downtown.
Begins at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and closes nightly at midnight.
Thursday: Flag raising and welcoming at 6:30 p.m.; queen contest at 7 p.m.; music throughout the night by Chuck Abbott; winner of queen contest announced from 9:15 to 9:30 p.m.
Friday: "Jeff Welsh Band" from 9:15 to 9:30 p.m.
Saturday: Children's ride matinee from 1 to 5 p.m.; parade at 6 p.m. and music by "House Arrest" at 8 p.m. Parade begins on East Main Street at Willow Park, goes through residential neighborhoods and ends on Park Avenue.
Advanced ride tickets are on sale at Cortland Sparkle Market, Custom Countertops and Kitchens, Marcy's Hallmark Card Shop, Ron's Barber Shop Star Cleaners and Slick Stitch Embroidery.
