Thomas Maher Driscoll of Salem received the Hopkins Scholar Award as presented to a student in the English department who has completed a yearlong research project in literature.

Julie Morgan of Austintown, Shannon McGarry of Boardman and Jami Kruhmin of Ravenna were members of the campus Radiologic Technology Team that took first place in the recent Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologists Academic Quiz Bowl held in Columbus.
EARLHAM COLLEGE, Richmond, Va.
Farrah Rivello, an Earlham senior and daughter of Robert and Christine Ann Rivello of Youngstown, recently completed Earlham's Camino de Santiago May Term 2006. The course featured a three-week trip across the original pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain, the third most popular site in Medieval European cultures. This course focused on the pilgrimage, the history and culture of the pilgrimage and peacemaking.
OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY AGRICULTURAL TECHNICAL INSTITUTE, Wooster
Anna Kellgreen of Boardman was named an outstanding student at ATI's annual student recognition banquet. She graduated in 2005 with an associate of science degree in livestock science and is completing a bachelor of science degree in animal sciences at Ohio State University.
OHIO UNIVERSITY, Athens
Jillian Smith of Vienna was a member of a student team which tied for first place in the university's Student Activity and Research Fairs business category competition. She and her teammates won a cash award and agreed to donate 10 percent of their winnings to a local charity. Each team presented a business plan to the Chagrin Valley Little Theatre to be judged in the competition.
