Man obstructs traffic after car repossessed

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- A 57-year-old man had to be subdued by borough police after a dispute with his bank.
Police said they were called to Sky Bank onWednesday after Robert R. Dudak of New Wilmington threatened to harm bank employees after his 1998 Chevrolet Malibu was repossessed from a parking lot near the bank.
Police said they found Dudak walking down the middle of South Market Street, refusing to move for vehicular traffic. He refused to stop and told officers he was going to harm himself.
Police said they had to use chemical spray to subdue Dudak, who hit and kicked them. Police charged him with making terroristic threats, harassment, disorderly conduct, aggravated assault and resisting arrest. Dudak was arraigned before District Justice James Reed, and his preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday in Lawrence County Central Court.
