Brothers have drug hearing rescheduled
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- A pair of Pittsburgh brothers accused of transporting suspected cocaine and heroin showed up at court without an attorney.
District Judge David Rishel rescheduled preliminary hearings for Gerrod Harris, 51, of North Atlantic Avenue, and Lynwood Alan Harris, 47, of Jackson Street, to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Lawrence County Central Court.
Pennsylvania State Police pulled the pair over on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near the Gateway Interchange in Lawrence County on June 8 and found 11 pounds of suspected cocaine and less than one ounce of suspected heroin. Both men remain in the Lawrence County Jail after each failed to post $1 million bond.
