Aguilera bombs on new single, 'Ain't No Other Man'

LOS ANGELES TIMES
Hey-eeeee-eee-ee-yah-ee-yeah-ee-hey you, Christina Aguilera has a new single. And, yes, it shows she still has a great voice and is not afraid to overuse it. Woo woo.
Unfortunately, "Ain't No Other Man" (RCA) sounds more like a string of Payless Shoes commercials than an actual song.
The blaring horn sample, the sudden stop-starts, the over-the-top singing, it's all very 1999, as if the whole "Beautiful" album never happened. Yeah yeah. Maybe "Ain't No Other Man" is really an ad -- to remind people Xtina still exists, in time for the forthcoming "Back to Basics" (RCA) album -- disguised as a single so radio and video stations will play it for free.
