Sex offender gets two years in prison

LISBON -- Judge C. Ashley Pike of Columbiana County Common Pleas Court sentenced a man Wednesday to two years in prison on a sex charge.
Jason M. Jayne, 27, of Afton Avenue, Boardman, pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. He was accused of engaging in a sex act with a girl, then 13, on June 10, 2004.
Judge Pike ruled the sentence can run concurrently with a four-year prison term Jayne was sentenced to in a similar case in Mahoning County, according to court officials.
Judge Pike also ruled that Jayne is a sexual predator who will have to register his address with authorities after his release from prison.
