Liberty Board of Education accepted the resignation of or approved the hiring of these individuals at its Tuesday meeting:
Resignations: Laurena Rouan, assistant treasurer (budgetary), effective May 31; intervention assistant Lauren Lovell; teacher Charity Kurz; summer school teacher Nicole Hassel; Leslie Haught, detention supervisor; Jamie Rasile, assistant softball coach; and Jerry Bruff, assistant basketball coach.
Hired: Erin Barnot as teacher for the summer school intervention program; granted one-year limited contract to Catherine Hivner as assistant treasurer (budgetary).
Recognized recent district retirees Mary Ann Polcha, Joy Vass, Marilyn Rambo and Sandra Zians.
