Theft: A rear license plate was removed from a vehicle at the Red Roof Inn, 1051 Tiffany Blvd.
Assault: A man told police a male pupil assaulted his daughter at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St.
Theft: Several wristwatches were stolen from a table-top display at Jewels & amp; More in the Southern Park Mall.
Misuse of a credit card: A woman told officers her son tried to use her debit card at Home Savings and Loan, 7525 Market St., without permission.
Forgery: Someone passed a $723 phony check at Midwest Money Center, 5021 Market St.
Robbery: Police arrested a 20-year-old Youngstown man on a robbery charge after he was accused of shoving a security employee at Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road, and trying to flee with stolen property.
Theft: A Youngstown man, 44, faced a theft charge after a pair of sunglasses was taken from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Authorities took a 44-year-old Youngstown man into custody after four bottles of cologne were taken from Sears in the Southern Park Mall. The man was charged with theft.
Theft: Two Campbell girls, 16 and 17, were charged with theft after someone stole clothing from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A customer stole cigars from a Speedway gas station, 649 E. Midlothian Blvd.

Arrest: Officers apprehended a 37-year-old Youngstown man near South Avenue and Mathews Road after learning he was wanted on a felony warrant from Youngstown charging him with failing to register as a sex offender. Other charges against the man were possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing official business.
Burglary: A man reported a break-in at his home in the 50 block of Clifton Drive.
Drugs: While conducting a traffic stop near Tiffany Boulevard and U.S. Route 224, authorities arrested a 21-year-old Youngstown man on charges of trafficking in drugs and carrying a concealed weapon. He had suspected marijuana and two knives, police said.
Theft: A 35-year-old North Lima man was picked up on a warrant from Boardman charging him with one count of theft. He was accused of stealing gasoline and cigarettes from Country Fair Food Store on South Avenue.
Assault: A Boardman woman, 35, was arrested and charged with assault after police say she assaulted a worker at Hair Depot, 4026 Market St., and tried to get away with stolen property.

Theft: Groceries were stolen from Cochran Sparkle Market, 4121 South Ave.
Theft: A 39-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after merchandise was stolen from Value City Department Store.
Arrests: Officers took a boy, 15, and a woman, 35, into custody at their Beechwood Drive home on charges of obstructing official business and resisting arrest; the boy also was wanted on a warrant issued by the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center, Youngstown.
Theft: A temporary license plate was taken off a vehicle at Sam's Club, 6361 South Ave.
Theft: A man left Cinemark Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road, and found a stereo system missing from his vehicle.
Drugs: A 46-year-old Youngstown man faced charges of drug abuse, operating a vehicle under the influence and driving under suspension after being stopped near Midlothian Boulevard and Interstate 680.
Theft: Police picked up a 31-year-old Indianapolis man on a warrant charging him with theft relating to a crime in the township.
Drugs: A Youngstown man, 44, was arrested in the township and charged with one felony count of trafficking in drugs.

Theft: A Boardman woman noticed an unauthorized withdrawal had been made to an account in Canton using her debit card.
Criminal mischief: A man reported property damage to his residence in the 100 block of Overhill Drive after someone fired a bullet through a window.
Theft: Property was stolen from Payless Shoesource, 48 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Police charged a 35-year-old New Castle, Pa., man with theft in a crime at Dillard's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A woman, no age given, and a man, 36, both from Youngstown, were charged with theft at the Southern Park Mall.
Arrest: Police arrested a 26-year-old Campbell man near Market Street and Midlothian Boulevard on a felony charge of drug abuse and driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.

Criminal damaging: A man noticed a glass storm door at his residence in the 7200 block of Glendale Avenue had been shattered.
