The Home Builders/Remodelers Association of Mahoning Valley in cooperation with the Make-A-Wish Foundation will host a live auction Thursday during the opening night of the Parade of Homes to be presented by Home Savings and 84 Lumber Co. at Catarina Place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $15, and the auction begins at 7 p.m. To reach Catarina Place, take state Route 170 from the center of Poland, turn right on Spitler Road, to Morningside Drive. FESTIVALS
St. Nicholas Church, 764 Fifth St., Struthers, will hold a festival Wednesday through Sunday. Discounted ride tickets will be available for children's' night, from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Festival hours will be 6 to 11 p.m., Thursday; 6 to midnight, Friday and Saturday; and 6 to 11, Sunday. There will be a $10,000 raffle drawing at 11 p.m. Sunday. A Beatitude House flea market will be sponsored by approximately 100 clients of the Young Financial Group from noon to 4 p.m. June 25 at the parking area of Key Bank Building, 4030 Boardman Canfield Road, Canfield. Prices are discounted and firm. Refreshments will be available.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Larwen Council of Arts is seeking volunteers to assist with the set up and clean up at the first annual Zadok Street Festival to be held July 1 and 2 at Centennial Park in Salem. Salem Storybook Museum in Quaker Place, 645 E. State St., Salem, will hold its sixth annual doll's tea party, "The Hat-Making Event," at 1 p.m. June 24. The cost is $10. TheTravel Club of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 381 Robbins Ave., Niles, is sponsoring a trip to Niagara Falls Precious Blood Fathers Picnic at St. Gaspar Mission House in Niagara Falls, Canada, Aug. 14 and 15.
