XBOARDMAN -- B.J. Prassinos and his bride, the former Kellie Schnitzer, honeymooned on the Hawaiian island of Oahu after their marriage May 13 at St. John Greek Orthodox Church.

Walter and Deborah Schnitzer of Columbiana are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Constant Prassinos of Austintown and Maria Prassinos of Boardman.
Swarovski crystals and lace appliques trimmed the satin bodice and the full tulle skirt of the bride's off-the-shoulder gown.
Wearing lavender-colored gowns were the bride's sister and honor attendant, Wendi Rudge, and the bridesmaids, the groom's sister and koumbara, Patricia Kolias; Jacqueline Flowers, his cousin; Jen Kirby, the bride's sister-in-law; and Mandy Minick. Flower girls were Maria Kolias, the groom's niece, and Alexis and Kayla Kirby, nieces of the bride.
The duties of best man were performed by Steve Guerrieri, and groomsmen were Alexandre Prassinos, the groom's brother; Tim Rudge, the bride's brother-in-law; and Robert Kirby, her brother. Ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Freddy Kolias.
The bride, a certified public accountant, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's in business administration. The groom earned his bachelor's in finance-accounting at YSU. Both are auditors with the Youngstown office of Ohio Auditor of State Betty Montgomery.
