Family honors the Welshes on 50th anniversary

XNEW SPRINGFIELD -- Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welsh, 13030 Springfield Road, were the guests of honor at a family dinner party held June 10 in New Springfield on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the celebration were their family, Kim and Tom Koch of Petersburg, Cathy and Bruce Olson of East Grand Rapids, Mich., and Brenda and Jim Folkenroth of New Springfield. There are seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild in the family.
Mr. Welsh and the former Jean DeRhodes were united in marriage June 9 at Grace Lutheran Church in East Palestine. They are members of Zion Lutheran Church in New Middletown.
Mrs. Welsh retired in March 2001 from Welsh Motors, where she was the office manager. She is a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine.
Mr. Welsh is a Ford dealer with Welsh Motors. He is a member of East Palestine F & amp;AM Lodge 417; Al Koran Shrine, Cleveland; Youngstown Shrine Club; Wheels of Mercy Foundation; and Royal Order of Jesters Court 14, Cleveland.
