VACATION TREATS



Anchor Books' recent publication of "The Da Vinci Code" in paperback puts Dan Brown's popular thriller into lightweight, compact form for easy toting to summer-reading spots. But with 60.5 million copies of "Da Vinci" already in circulation, the "Code" has already been cracked by plenty of readers.
For them -- indeed, for anyone whose summer pleasures include books -- there are many other choices, new titles in hardcover and paperback, that summertime readers might consider diving into while at the beach or in the backyard.
