Three people to appear in court in robbery case
STRUTHERS -- Three people will appear Monday in municipal court for their reported involvement in the robbery of the Youngstown-Poland Road Dairy Queen.
Dennis Randall, 28, of Youngstown, will be arraigned on a charge of aggravated robbery. David McKee, 23, of Youngstown and Jody Zimmerman, 18, of Austintown face charges of complicity to aggravated robbery.
The three are being held in city jail after their arrests Friday night.
Police said Randall went into the store shortly before 10:30 p.m. and tried to rob it. An employee alerted police on her cell phone.
Police arrived after the suspect fled empty-handed in a car that was being driven by Randall, police said. McKee and Zimmerman were passengers, police said, noting no weapon was found.
