Teen fights with mother, then police

COLUMBIANA -- Charges may be filed against an 18-year-old man who got into a fight Wednesday evening with two city officers.
Police Chief John Krawchyk said Friday that the man and his mother were involved in an argument in a second-story apartment on South Main Street.
When the officers arrived, the man got into a fight with officers and broke through the windows in an attempt to escape. The officers hauled the man back in. He was being treated at Forum Health Northside Medical Center in Youngstown for cuts.
The officers had minor injuries, according to chief. The woman was not injured.
