Security breaches at OU

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) -- Ohio University has suffered two additional electronic security breaches in which hackers accessed private information from the school's computer systems, the university said.
The FBI already was investigating three prior data thefts involving research and patents and private information on students and alumni, including Social Security numbers.
The latest cases involve about 2,500 subcontractors paid by OU in 2004 and last year, and about 4,900 others in another computer, the university said.
