Hubbard Steven Optical 12, Lakeview A & amp;W Restaurant 3 -- First and last names of players from both teams were not submitted.
Canfield Creekside Fitness 12, Poland PLM Electric 2 -- Mark Pelini went the distance to pick up the win and contributed two hits. Michael Podolsky had three hits while Anthony Patella had two hits and two RBIs. For Poland, David Bobby and Pat Donahue had two hits each.
Tri-T Colt (ages 15-17)
Austintown Home Depot 14, Boardman 3 -- Anthony Ricci and Dan Rubosky each had two hits while Mike Hebebrand had a bases-loaded double. Ricci and Alex Morales combined to limit Boardman to two hits. For Boardman, Mark Fiore tripled.
Babe Ruth (ages 14-15)
Austintown Home Depot 19, Poland 4 -- Jimmy Hagan hit a grand slam while Mike Hebebrand drove in five runs with a triple and double. Nick Cestone and Eric Archer each added three hits. Archer and Chad Burbrink limited Poland batters to three hits. For Poland, Chad Reves tripled for two RBIs.
Astro Falcons 9 Rondinelli 8 -- The Falcons scored six runs in the top of the seventh inning. Todd Kibby struck out 10 while pitching a complete game. Kibby also led the Falcons' hitting with a home run, double and four RBIs. Dante Lewis had a triple while Nick Elliott had two singles. For Rondinelli, Drew Fitzpatrick had four hits.
Line Drive 6, Astro Falcons 4 -- Kevin McCulloh had three hits and drove in a run. Shane Parks pitched six strong innings and added two hits and an RBI. For Astro Falcons, Nick Elliott added two hits and an RBI.
Salem Sluggers 2, Salem AC 1 -- Evan Bollinger gave up one hit and struck out 11 to lead Salem. Matt Preston had an RBI double for Sluggers. Anthony Raschilla singled to bring in the go-ahead run. For Salem AC, Zac O'Brien pitched a four-hitter and Ban Gagnon had the hit and RBI.
Rondinelli 8, Salem AC 3 -- A.J. Zorella and Bo Slemons combined to pitch a victory. Getting three hits for Rondinelli were John Simon,Jason Bagoly, Drew Fitzpatrick and Shawn Roman. Salem AC got two hits from Mick Manser and T.C. Dankovich
Mahoning Valley Panthers 8, Wharmby Sports 3 -- Joe Sekula had three hits and two RBIs. For Wharmby, Steven Richards and Michael Tomko had two hits apiece.
Sluggers 12, Joe Koch Realty 7 -- Matt Preston and Joe Auluzia both had three hits and Adam Shrodek provided a three-run double. Brad Byers, Dan Eich and Corey Hill each had two hits for Koch.
Line Drive 7, Rizer Group Insurance 1 -- Kevin McCulloh pitched a complete game three-hitter. Pat O'Brien and Mark Olbrych each had three hits while McCulloh and Shane Parks each added two hits. For Rizer, Dante Abbas had a hit and an RBI.
Babe Ruth (ages 13-14)
Rondinelli 6, Mahoning Valley Panthers 3 -- Kevin Borris and Gerrard Rohan each had two hits for Rondinelli. Kevin McGuire, Dan Kennedy and Mik Thorper added hits. For the Panthers, Ryan Massey had two hits.
Line Drive 6, State Farm 4 -- Adam Robb had two doubles to knock in two runners. He also scored a run. Brock McGivern had two hits and scored two runs while Tom Slagle, Mark Leone and Kory Hopkinson added hits. For State Farm, Garrett Blaschak had two hits and pitched three solid innings, yielding only two hits. Matt Gruska and Zach Shaffer had State Farm's other hits.
