MCDONALD Park activities



Woodland Park in McDonald opens Monday. For more information, visit the village Municipal Building or call Cindy Green at (330) 530-4221. Activities scheduled include:
Park movies: 8:30 p.m. on these Tuesdays -- June 13 and 20; July 11 through Aug. 15.
Park crafts: 11 a.m. every Friday. Crafts include picture frames and potted flowers.
Park pool: 11:30 a.m. all weekdays pending weather.
Warm Water Program: 8-9 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays, June 9 through Aug. 22. Program includes activities for people with arthritis, muscle aches and those wanting low-impact exercise.
Concerts in the Park: 7-8:30 p.m. Thursdays. Concerts will be from July 7 through Aug. 10 in Ramsey Pavilion.
Summer Swim Program: Wednesdays and Thursdays, June 14 through Aug. 3. Lessons are free to youth living in the McDonald school district. Participants must be age 3 through sixth-graders.
Story Time Mondays: 11 a.m. Mondays from June 26 through July 24.
Summer adult volleyball: Mondays and Wednesdays, June 19 through Aug. 14. Register at Municipal Building by Wednesday.
Tennis clinic: Saturdays through June 24.
John Pete Checker Tournament: noon June 23. Register before June 21.
Tie-Dye Day: June 27 at Woodland Park Pavilion. Bring anything you'd like to tie-dye.
Beach Day: July 21. (Rain date: July 28). Beach Day will include sprinklers, the pool, beach balls, games, etc.
Mommy and Me Day: 11:30 a.m., July 31. Bring your own picnic lunches to Woodland Park Pavilion. There will be a craft lunch.
Ice Cream Sundae Day: Aug. 4. Come create your own sundae.
Village Youth Triathlon: Aug. 17. Register at Municipal Building.
