Magician to give 3 shows at Playhouse

YOUNGSTOWN -- Master illusionist and magician John Steven Bloom will perform three shows, July 7 and 8 at 8 p.m., and July 9 at 2:30 p.m., at the Youngstown Playhouse.
Bloom, of Liberty, has toured the United States and Mexico with his family-oriented magic show. He has also headlined at the Texas Station Casino in Las Vegas and performed with Alice Cooper, "Weird" Al Yankovic and Billy Bob Thornton in Alice Cooper's Christmas Pudding concert in Phoenix. His show will be the first outside production presented in the Playhouse since it opened its Glenwood Avenue location in 1959.
