Babe Ruth (age 13)
Line Drive 14, Rondinelli 0 -- Carter Hill, Mark Leone and Brian Orr combined on a one-hit shutout to lead Line Drive. Danny Popio had three hits and two RBIs, Ryan Gallagher had two hits and four RBIs, and Carter Hill had two hits and two RBIs. Camden Palmer had the only hit for Rondinelli.
State Farm 5, Mahoning Valley Panthers 4 -- Nick DiBartolomeo pitched six strong innings and Erik Travalgini had three hits to lead State Farm. Dante Vetica added two hits and Matt Gurska had a double for State Farm. Cameron Christopher and Shane Brown had two hits each for Mahoning Valley.
Line Drive 7, Wharmby Sports 4 -- Mark Leone had two hits and two RBIs, Brock McGivern scored two runs and Carter Hill had two RBIs to lead Line Drive. Dan Watkins had two hits and an RBI for Wharmby Sports.
Babe Ruth (ages 14-15)
Rondinelli 5, Line Drive 0 -- Drew Fitzpatrick pitched a near-perfect game, holding Line Drive Academy to four hits to lead Rondinelli Tuxedo. John Simon, Jason Bagoly and Jaymee Shephard each had three hits while Kevin McCullough and Robby Boyd had hits for Line Drive.
Wharmby Sports 11, Sluggers 5 -- Wharmby scored three runs in the first inning with four straight hits and six runs and three more in the top of the eighth with six hits and two walks. Wharmby was led by Jason Burkes with three hits and three runs scored. Evan Anzio, Jordan Wilds and Tyler Young each had two hits. Sluggers went ahead in the fifth inning when they scored three runs. Bo Beegle had three hits to lead Sluggers. Brandon Neilan and Trevor Russell had two hits each for Sluggers.
Astro Falcons 10, Salem AC 5 -- Brian Visingardi and Nick Elliot each had three hits for Falcons. Todd Kibby had two hits and Matt Semach scored four runs as the Falcons won for the ninth time. Falcons pitchers Dante Lewis, Sean Gabriel and Phil Woods combined for 10 strikeouts. For Salem, Jay Plesea had three hits including a double and Mickey Manser had two singles.
Rizer Group 11, Mahoning Valley Panthers 7 -- First and last names of players from both teams were not submitted.
Line Drive 7, Joe Koch Realty 1 -- Shane Parks scattered seven hits for Line Drive pitching a complete game. Sam Porter and Isaac Melnick led Line Drive with two hits each. Corey Hill, Nick Crum and Brad Byers had hits for Joe Koch Realty.
Tri-T Colt (ages 15-17)
Austintown Home Depot 5, Columbiana 2 -- Mike Hebebrand hit a two-run double while Marty Chance and Anthony Ricci had two hits apiece as Home Depot captured its fifth victory. Kevin Daley and Dan Rubosky combined to limit Columbiana to three hits. For Columbiana, Tyler DeJong pitched a complete game and had two hits.
