Columbiana man is recipient of Ohio Council service award
YOUNGSTOWN -- Paul R. Bartholow of Columbiana, a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Youngstown, was named the 2006 recipient of a Meritorious Service Award on June 2 at the Ohio Council of Deliberation in Toledo.
Each year the prestigious award is presented to only one member of the Valley of Youngstown who has served the Scottish Rite above and beyond the call of duty.
He will receive his certificate, cap and jewel next June at the Council of Deliberation in Columbus.
Bartholow is a past presiding officer of the three York Rite bodies, and is past master of Allen Lodge 276 in Columbiana, for whi2ch he is serving as secretary. He is also serving the Scottish Rite as chairman of the wardrobe committee.
The owner of Bartholow and Associates Inc. in Columbiana, Bartholow is a member and deacon at First Church of Christ in East Palestine.
