Track: Pocono International Raceway (triangular oval, 2.5 miles, 14 degrees banking in turn 1, 8 degrees in turn 2, 6 degrees in turn 3).
Race distance: 500 miles, 200 laps.
Last race: Matt Kenseth caught Roush Racing teammate Jamie McMurray with three laps left and pulled away to win at Dover International Speedway. Kenseth passed McMurray after the leader was slowed a bit by Michael Waltrip's lapped car. With one lap to go, Kenseth pulled away for his second win of the season and 12th of his career.

Federated Auto Parts 300
Site: Lebanon, Tenn.
Schedule: Saturday, qualifying (Speed Channel, 5 p.m.), race (FX, 7:30 p.m.).
Track: Nashville Superspeedway (tri-oval, 1.33 miles, 14 degrees banking in turns).
Race distance: 300 miles, 225 laps.
Last race: Jeff Burton had the biggest come-from-behind win ever in a Busch Series race at Dover International Speedway, overcoming a 36th-place starting position for his second victory of the season.
NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCKS
Sam's Town 400
Site: Fort Worth, Texas.
Schedule: Thursday, qualifying, 7 p.m.; Friday, race (Speed Channel, 9 p.m.).
Track: Texas Motor Speedway (quad-oval, 1.5 miles, 24 degrees banking in turns).
Race distance: 250.5 miles, 167 laps.
Last race: Mark Martin drove his No. 6 Ford to an easy victory at Dover International Speedway, beating fellow Nextel Cup star Carl Edwards by 3.052 seconds. It was Martin's third win in six races this season and gave team owner Jack Roush the top two spots.

British Grand Prix
Site: Silverstone, England.
Schedule: Saturday, qualifying (Speed Channel, 7:30 a.m.); Sunday, race, 7 a.m. (CBS, 1 p.m., tape).
Track: Silverstone Circuit (road course, 3.194 miles, 14 turns).
Race distance: 191.64 miles, 60 laps.
Last race: Fernando Alonso won the Monaco Grand Prix on May 28, his first victory in Formula One's most prestigious race. Alonso, in a Renault, won for the fourth time in seven races. The defending champion now has 64 points.
INDY RACING LEAGUE
Bombardier 500
Site: Fort Worth, Texas.
Schedule: Today, qualifying, 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, race (ESPN, 9 p.m.).
Track: Texas Motor Speedway (quad-oval, 1.5 miles, 24 degrees banking in turns).
Race distance: 300 miles, 200 laps.
Last race: Scott Dixon won a slippery battle of attrition that took out the 19-year-old rookie Marco Andretti and several others, holding off Vitor Meira and Ryan Briscoe in a one-lap shootout to capture the Indy Grand Prix at Watkins Glen, N.Y., for the second straight year.

CarQuest Auto Parts Nationals
Site: Joliet, Ill.
Schedule: Friday, qualifying, 5:30 p.m.; Saturday, qualifying, 1 p.m. (ESPN2, 5 p.m., tape); Sunday, eliminations, Noon (ESPN2, 5 p.m., tape).
Track: Route 66 Raceway.
Last event: Funny Car leader Ron Capps made it 3-for-3 in 2006 final rounds against John Force in the O'Reilly Summer Nationals in Topeka, Kan., on May 28. Doug Kalitta (Top Fuel) and Dave Connolly (Pro Stock) also won.
Last year: Gary Scelzi took the Funny Car category at the Carquest Auto Parts Nationals for his second victory of the year. Scott Kalitta (Top Fuel), Jason Line (Pro Stock) and Chip Ellis (Pro Stock Bike) also won.
