Installation ceremony held, scholarship award presented

YOUNGSTOWN -- The installation of officers and the presentation of a scholarship award were highlights of the May 23 meeting of the Youngstown Chapter of Business and Professional Women/USA that took place at the Poland branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County.
Accepting the responsibilities of various offices were Lisa Mason of Simon Roofing, president; Shelly Carlile of Greenwood Chevrolet Hummer, vice president; Heather Belgin of YSU Alumni Relations, secretary; and Tracie Stephens of Schroedel, Scullin & amp; Bestic, treasurer. New members were inducted.
The $1,000 Dr. Anne McMahon Scholarship was presented by Minnie Andrews, scholarship chairperson, to Brandy Shives, an education major at YSU.
