Gas station manager robbed in parking lot

YOUNGSTOWN -- Police are investigating a robbery at the Shell Station at 3200 Market St. on the city's South Side.
The store manager told police around 10 a.m. Thursday that a man sprayed mace in her face and ran away with the store's bank deposit bag. She refused treatment at the scene.
Police said the manager was leaving the store to make a bank deposit and was walking a short distance across the parking lot to her car when the man came up behind her. When the man sprayed her face she dropped the bag.
She said he was wearing a hat and had a mask over his face. Police are reviewing the tapes from the store's surveillance cameras.
