HUBBARD
June 1
Assault: A man alleged his wife assaulted him in the Wings Express parking lot, 636 W. Liberty St.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 800 block of Johnny K Boulevard reported damage to his son's bicycle.
June 3
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 1100 block of Palmetto Drive noticed that the water in her swimming pool was red, apparently after someone placed an unknown substance in it.
Citation: Police cited two men, no ages or cities listed, on disorderly-conduct charges at Pagz Bar Grill, 119 N. Main St.
June 4
Theft: A compact disc from a car parked at Antenucci's Restaurant, 245 W. Liberty St.
June 5
Theft: Items from a locker at the Hubbard Community Pool, 250 Hall Ave.
Breaking and entering: A garage in the 200 block of Oakdale Avenue.
Theft: A woman in the 500 block of Doris Drive reported the theft of a check.
Bad checks: A worker at Patton's IGA Super Center, 880 W. Liberty St., told police a customer presented four checks returned on a closed account.
GIRARD
June 5
Breaking and entering: A weed trimmer, a chain saw and a self-propelled lawn mower were stolen from a backyard shed on Skoplee Drive.
June 6
Drugs: After stopping a vehicle on Cherry Street, police found suspected crack cocaine. A 44-year-old Girard man was arrested, but no charges had been filed against him at the time of the report.
Menacing: A woman told officers a Liberty woman threatened to beat up and harm the victim at Five Star Graphics, 201 W. Liberty St.
Theft: A man discovered cash and his Ohio driver's license stolen from his apartment in the 500 block of North Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 100 block of East Main Street reported someone used orange and purple spray paint on his vehicle.
Arrest: A Liberty woman, 24, was charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct after police say they found her in a garage in the 300 block of East Broadway Avenue, even though she had been told to stay off the property.
June 7
Criminal mischief: Someone damaged part of a fence at a residence in the 1000 block of North Ward Avenue.
LIBERTY
May 31
Arrest: A Campbell man, 26, was arrested during a traffic stop near Roosevelt and Colonial drives. He faced a felony charge of receiving stolen property after police say the license plates on his car were from a stolen vehicle.
Felonious assault: A Wellsville man, 59, suffered numerous cuts and was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, after police arrived at the Tallyho-tel, 4249 Belmont Ave., and found him bleeding profusely. The victim reported that a woman struck him in the head with a bottle and held a broken piece against his throat during an argument.
Criminal mischief: A woman reported finding white powder on her vehicle while she was in the 2900 block of Oakland Drive.
June 1
Drug paraphernalia: A 20-year-old man was arrested at his Stonington Drive residence and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after authorities say they found a device for smoking drugs, a syringe and other suspected contraband.
Robbery: A woman told police a man in his late teens or early 20s grabbed her purse as she entered the Golden Hunan Restaurant and Lounge, 3111 Belmont Ave., and fled. Her purse and its contents were recovered nearby.
June 2
Arrest: Police arrested a Youngstown man, 50, near Andrews and Wick avenues on a warrant charging theft.
Theft: An employee at a Westlake, Ohio, company reported a cellular phone, $4,000 worth of tools and a paint kit were missing from a company-owned vehicle in the 600 block of Beverly Hills Drive.
Theft: A Youngstown woman noticed several items had been removed from her purse while she was at Goodwill Industries, 2747 Belmont Ave.
Assault: A Girard man reported three men attacked him in the Kentucky Fried Chicken parking lot, 3309 Belmont Ave., and that he was dragged by their vehicle after he tried to reach in the window to confront his attackers. He had a cut and scrape on his arm.
Theft: Someone stole a $2,000 air-conditioning unit being installed in a building in the 1900 block of Keefer Road.
Recovered property: Warren authorities impounded a vehicle after it was involved in a police pursuit. A Pinecrest Avenue woman had reported the car stolen.
Breaking and entering: A man returned to his car at Keystone Automotive Industries, 1282 Trumbull Ave., and discovered two windows broken. A $100 stereo/CD player was missing.
June 4
Theft: Police cited a 32-year-old Vienna woman on a theft charge after she was accused of failing to scan $161 worth of groceries at Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave.
Arrest: Officers picked up a 59-year-old man at his West Montrose Street home on a warrant charging him with contempt of court.
Possible theft: A man reported his wallet lost or stolen while at Choice's Niteclub, 1620 Motor Inn Drive.
June 5
Theft: A woman reported her debit card missing from her home in the 10 block of Holly Drive.
Arrest: While responding to a possible burglary at a Tuttle Drive residence, officers arrested a Girard woman, 34. She was wanted on warrants charging her with larceny and failing to appear on a traffic charge.
Arrest: Police stopped a vehicle at Rite Aid Pharmacy, 2704 Belmont Ave., after confirming one of its license plates had been stolen. They took a 24-year-old Youngstown man into custody on charges of receiving stolen property and driving under suspension, as well as on a warrant charging him with criminal trespassing.
June 6
Theft: A rear license plate was stolen off a vehicle in the 3800 block of Orchard Avenue.
Theft: A woman reported several diamond rings, bracelets, earrings and other jewelry stolen from her home in the 4800 block of Logan Way. Her loss was estimated at $2,150.
