'TIS THE SEASON Time to come clean

Surveys have found:
The most popular spring cleaning activity is clearing out unwanted items to donate to charity or throw out (91 percent).
Popular items discarded during spring cleaning are clothes that people feel they will never wear again (95 percent).
Women are about twice as reluctant to throw out their "thin" clothes that they hope to wear again once they lose weight than are men (39 percent of women vs. 20 percent of men refuse to throw these items out during spring cleaning).
The least favorite spring cleaning chore is washing windows (43 percent overall).
